Customising maps

I wish I could have a little more control over the map layout. ie.

  1. I would like to be able to have use a full width map but have the place card and controls within the layout width (as we can do with other content sections such as banners. This would look smarter.

  2. It would be even better if we could place the map and the place card separately and have full control over each. However, would be happy with the above.

  3. I tried changing the colour of the place card background and some other css overrides but could not get these to work either. If there are special ways to customize these elements, it would be good if Themler could provide some examples.

Hello Arhon,

We use Google Maps service to embed the maps and all controls are coming from its API, thus, some features are limited.
I will forward your suggestion to the developers to check if the map functionality can be extended in future.

Could you please provide the link to the existing map you have, we will check if custom code can be added to change the color?
