A few Question before purchasing license

Hi There,

I am considering purchasing a license for Themler for CMS (you only seem to have a desktop version for Windows and I work only on Macs).

If I purchase the license for a year, use it to create/edit templates for my website directly from my CMS - what would happen after the license expires? Would I still be able to edit & tweak via my CMS the existing templates created before the license expired or will I have to renew my license to be able to edit them?

The windows desktop users seem to have an advantage at the moment. Although paying same price for a license - it seems that the Win Desktop users can keep updating & editing templates without renewing license (and without ongoing updates) whilst it seems that the CMS tool users have to constantly renew the license to be able to do ongoing maintenance & edits to their Themler created templates.

Is that correct?

Hi,

After the free update period expires you will be able to edit your templates as long as you do not apply the new updates in the application. The same is for the desktop version.
Also we are working on the Mac desktop application so follow the news on the forum for the updates.

Just to clarify - what do you mean 'as long as I don't apply the update in the application'?

At the moment (at least on the free template trial) editing it on my CMS somehow automatically connects to Themler to allow the edit (but not saving as I don't have license yet) so Themler does not seem to be installed on my CMS - therefore I am not intirely sure what application you referring to...

Any idea when the MAC desktop version is likely to be out?

Hi,

We're trying to update our application once or twice a month.
When your subscription expires, you'll still be able to use Themler, e.g. save or download themes. However, you won't be able to apply those newest updates to your current version.
Does it make sense?

You're right, you just need to upload the Themler theme to your CMS back-end. Then you can use Themler online. Therefore, you are not required to install it on your PC.

Unfortunately, I can't provide you with any ETA for this feature ti be implemented.

I use Artisteer to create Drupal themes. I want to use Themler desktop version but when I go to purchase it looks like the listed versions don't support Drupal (only Wordpress and Joomla). "Drupal" is listed at the bottom for $48 but I can't tell if that is all I need to get, or is this a $48 add-on to the purchase of Themler, so to create Drupal themes I need to buy Themler PLUS Drupal extra? It is not clear in your pricing page.

Can you please clarify what all I need to do, as an owner of Artisteer 4, to upgrade to Themler to create Drupal themes?

Thank you for the quick response. If I buy the Personal version and upgrade later to Business, is it just the price difference? Also, how many of my computers can I install my purchased Themler on? I have one main desktop design system, but also use a laptop and Surface Pro 3. I'd like to use Themler on all of them so I have it with me wherever I am.

Hi,

Yes, you can upgrade later at the price difference.
Actually, if you press Upgrade button next to your current subscription you'll see the list of all available for you upgrade options and prices:
http://themler.com/Purchase

You can install Themler on your PC and laptop if you're the only users who work there.
Also note that it's impossible to run more than 2 instances of Themler at the same time.
