Hello guys,

Maybe is a stupid question but I must to ask if it´s possible in a 6 cells table layout merge a two vertical cells and create a single vertical cell.

I have been deleting cells in order to make room for my vertical cell, but Themler moves the cells horizontally and not vertically over a predefined layout.

Please, can you check my image to look what I am looking for?

Do you have a methodology for a newbie like me?

Best,

Hello,

You would need to add two containers first. On on the left and other on the right. Then put 4 cells to the left container and two one cell to the right (or just keep it empty). Then you would need to adjust the margins and padding so they all look as a single structure.

Hello Gina,

Thanks a lot for the reply. Diving deep into this, I would like to understand the usage, tips and tricks recommended for the container.

I have been using the columns layout in several of my sections on this template, but without containers. Is that a good or bad practice?

It´s is important ot use containers all the time? are scenarios where containers are recommended?

Do you have a page explaing the concept and usage of containers in Themler?

Best,

Cinthya,

It wouldn't be correct to define the usage of containers as good or bad, they simply create new DIV tags where content can be. Columns are structured similar to table cells, containers can be of any size comparing to one another creating different layout combinations. I mean that columns out in one row would be of same size (at least height), containers can be of different sizes even when put next to each other. You can check these articles https://answers.themler.io/articles/4419/layout-container and https://answers.themler.io/articles/19315/creating-a-row-section-with-two-containers
