Server Unavailable

Hello,

This seems to be a common problem, but I can't find an exact answer that applies to me.

I have Themler for Mac and am using the Mac application. When I try to change a section and select a different selection, I get the dreaded "Server Unavailable". I thought my subscription ended but I still have until August.

Thanks.

Hello,

Could you please try the following:
1. Disable the option "Prevent cross-data tracking" in Safari browser:

2. Reboot the computer.
3. Run Themler for Mac and log in.
4. Try to save and export the theme and let us know the result.

You would also need to disable proxy, firewall or any other security program.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I did exactly what you said but there has been no change unfortunately. When I change a section, I can see the section library and select something, but when I click "add" it gives me the server error message. I thought it might be an issue with macOS Catalina and giving the app "full disk access" under the privacy settings, but it made no change. For a moment I also got this other error message (see attachment).

If it helps, I own Nicepage as well and it works fine.

Hello,

Have you got the most recent system updates for Mac installed? Also - please try to temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, third-party Safari browser add-ons and other applications that might block access to servers. Then clear cache and run Themler anew.

Sincerely,
Nettie

I tried installing Themler on my wife's 2015 MBP running Catalina and it still said "Server Unavailable". This is on a fresh user account on a relatively new MacOS install.

I installed Themler on a Windows 10 virtual machine (Parallels) on my main MacBook Pro (2016/ Catalina) and it worked fine.

So at the moment, the finger is pointing at macOS Catalina - also known as "Can't-alina". Have you guys tested Themler under Catalina?

We did, the only problem there was - that one related to cross data tracking, only in previous OS version. Doesn't happen with the latest OS.
Can you try fresh install?
