Good morning,

for the optimization of the SEO we have the problem of the underscores ( _ ) that are automatically inserted in the URL of the images inserted in the theme before the name of the image itself.

How can they be removed and replaced with a high dash ( - ) ?

Thank you.

Hello Alessandro,

Unfortunately, there is no setting in Themler that can change that.
You can, of course, go to "images" folder in your theme after the export and rename them, but you would also need to change their names in the links where they are used - in post content or in css files (depending on what images you mean).

The issue with underscores in image URLs is common, and replacing them with hyphens is generally better for SEO because search engines interpret hyphens as word separators. One approach is to rename the image files before uploading them, ensuring all spaces or underscores are replaced with hyphens. Alternatively, some CMS platforms allow URL rewrite rules or plugins that automatically convert underscores to hyphens upon upload. For those exploring creative ways to use images beyond traditional web optimization, Image to STL can convert your 2D images into 3D models, offering new dimensions for visualization and design projects.By combining proper URL formatting with innovative image applications, you can improve SEO while expanding the ways your visuals are utilized across different media.
