Removing category link from Wordpress posts

Hi guys,

I have a problem: using "WP Author, Date and Meta Remover" I successfully removed everything from being shown, but on mobile there is still the category link in each post, like here: https://tel69.uk/scottish-phone-sex/ as you can see only from mobile it shows. Even if I don't create any category it will still show "uncategorized". I never had any problem with this plugin, maybe there is a conflict with the theme? any ideas how to fix it? thank you.

Hello Alan, (correct me if I got your name wrong)

I don't see categories in mobile view, see attached:

It may be cache issue on your phone. Clear browser cache there or test a different phone.
Let us know the result.

Hi Gina,

first of all, thank you very much for your reply. You can see in your screenshot there is the category: Home > Uk phone sex > Scottish phone sex - so that - Uk phone sex - is the category that I have excluded with the plugin, but it still shows on mobile, not on desktop. I've tried other plugins and it's even worse, since they show the category on desktop too. If I delete the category page it will still show the "uncategorized" anyway.

I see now, you mean the breadcrumbs.
The category there is visible even in desktop mode on my end.
You can hide it by adding this code to Home -> Settings -> Additional CSS:

.breadcrumb-trail ul li:nth-of-type(2) {
  display:none!important;
}
