WPML - not possible to change template

Good morning,

I created a website dutch language.
For page 'X' I created a template 'main-NL'.

Now I'm translating page 'X' with WPML plugin.
Because of some translations I duplicated the template and created a new one, template 'Main-DE'.

I would like to select the 'Main-DE' template in the translation of the page. But if I select that one and click update page, it switched automatically back to 'Main-NL'?

I can’t believe how addictive heardle game has become. It’s a daily challenge that’s both frustrating and fun, but I love it. Identifying songs from such short intros is harder than it sounds, yet each correct guess is a moment of victory.
