Usually the theme thumbnail is updated whenever the theme is saved or exported:
If it is not updated on your end, try saving theme as a copy (via File -> Make a copy as) under a bit different name. New copy should have updated thumbnail.

You have mentioned cPanel - do you mean thumbnails there or in Themler desktop Theme Management screen shown above?
If on cPanel - unfortunately, we cannot control thumbnail view on hosted websites where the theme is installed, though the thumbnail should still be refreshed in Themler desktop.

The best way would be to re-export the theme under a different name and then re-install the theme and activate it.
