Hello,

We couldn't reproduce the issue on our end. Looks like the issue is server-related, for example, there is some server firewall, or server plugin or have issu related to http/https protocol.
Also it may have been temporary issue. Is it present at the moment?

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hi

Well it was still happening but whilst I was trying different sites the template suddenly started saving again.
This was the message I was getting.

I'll get back to you if it reoccurs.

thank you, kind regards

Eleanor,
I have reported it to the developers.
Meanwhile, could you please login to themler.io site in Chrome, and then try logging in to Themler Editor again?

Hi Gina,

I work in Chrome.
And all my sites are working again, no idea what the issue was but all OK for now, thank you!

Hi Gina

I am again intermittently, having this same issue .

I found your answer from March 2020 to another user:

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have found the problem. It's related to a security update in Google Chrome v80.
If you are using Google Chrome, try this:
1) navigate to:
chrome://appcache-internals
find your website and click on 'Remove Item'
2) navigate to:
chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
select 'Cached images and files ' and click on 'Clear Data' (please don't check other check-boxes).
3) Reload your Themler Editor.
Some users have reported that complete re-install of Google Chrome solved the issue.
If you are using the Desktop version, then:
1) close Themler
2) open Windows Explorer and type %LocalAppData% in the address bar
3) find & rename Themler directory
4) start Themler again

I've tried, 1) navigate to:
chrome://appcache-internals
find your website and click on 'Remove Item'

but my website is not listed so there's nothing to remove.
Do you have any other suggestions as to how to fix this?

Thank you, kind regards

If the site is not listed, it means it is not cached. Try to log out from Themler (desktop or any other version you have opened) in case there is still some login active. Then open themler.io site and login there.
Once you are logged in this site, then open Themler editor and check if the account was logged in there as well.

It sounds frustrating to encounter that error with saving templates. You might want to try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to see if that resolves the issue. Meanwhile, if you’re interested in some great templates for your projects, the ical ar capcut template could be worth checking out. Hope you find a solution soon!
