Hello,
I have created a template for a new website, a HOME page and 4 different page designs. For some reason when I activate the template in Joomla, only the Home page has the correct HOME template but the other pages don't show the single page designs, they all appear in the POST design of the template although I copied the template and set the right page design for the right menu items. How do I tell Joomla to use the page designs and not the post design?

Thanks
Claudia

Hello Claudia,

Either Page or Post template can be used for Single article menu item type in Joomla. If an article contains metadata like Author, Published Date, Hits, Category, etc., the Post template is used.

Once the metadata is disabled for the article from the Joomla back-end, the article will have Page template styling. But if for example at least one post header icon is enabled, the article will have Post Template styling.

Sincerely,
Nettie
