Hi have I seen "Nicepage" from the Artisteer team? what is Themler's replacement ??? who paid for Themler's renewal what does he do ??? Does that mean you are leaving Themler? sorry for the thousand questions but I don't understand what it takes to create new products by abandoning those that customers are using?

Thanks

Hello,

Indeed, it is mostly the same team for Themler and Nicepage.
These are different tools. Themler is more advanced, but Nicepage is easier to use, it some respect it is more like Artisteer. Please feel free to try it for free at https://nicepage.com.

There is discount available for Nicepage for Themler and Artisteer customers. By entering your email at https://nicepage.com/premium you will see the discounts.

Nicepage is actively developed and updates are issued often - from one to several times a month. New funcationality is added as well.

We are not going to abandon Themler. But it is already very advanced and thus new features or options are not often introdThemler updates include mostly support for coming CMS versions, Ecommerce plugins' or PHP versions, as well as issue fixes.

Sincerely,
Nettie

So I still have clients that use Artisteer, that I designed the website for ages ago.
With the PHP 8 update these website will not work anymore.

I'm nervous cause when I contacted the Artisteer support I was told that this was an abandoned platform.
So do you guarantee that the Themler platform will continue to work and not be replaced by Nicepage?
Nicepage looks a lot like Elementor...

And I want to know where my loyalty should be?
All my clients websites are build on Themler and if I have to start moving them all I would be disappointed.

Themler use Bootstrap 3 that is quite old. Also Themler use outdated technologies and SEO practices. It's partly support Joomla 4 (with a lot of bugs that not solving), but Joomla 4 itself use Bootstrap 5. So, Joomla 4 support = Bootstrap 5 support.

All this old things will slow down your website and SEO rank.

For now Themler look like abandoned software without future.

Nicepage is completely different software and can't replace Themler. So there is no alternative... only to find another template builder.

And if you want to try Nicepage, there is open question: can you trust to this company? BTW, there is not possible to upgrade Nicepage theme from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4.... you need to re-export theme for Joomla 4 and add all content from web plugin manually... while almost all other developers give you easy way to upgrade.

Same for Themler, you can't to upgrade from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4... you need to re-create template manually.

Most voted and most wanted features was not implemented in Nicepage since 2-3 years. So it's looks like Nicepage stuck in a wrong way.

Please vote for this topic: Themler 2.0 with Bootstrap 5 and support only two CMS: Joomla 4 and WordPress 5

Terrible that after so many who pay for software annually they find themselves with abandoned products instead of seeing them always updated and working ...

This is a tactic of planned obsolescence ...

nothing sadder ...

But if you ask if you have to pay the season tickets they tell you yes and that it is not abandoned ...
the next customer site that I will do with some site builder, I will put the note that the customer claims directly to the software house and not to us designers!

Hello Petra,

We see that most of all you are concerned about PHP 8 support and should say that it is not ready yet. There is a separate Themler default Beta theme for Joomla 4 and it supports PHP 8. For both Joomla and Wordpress several issues with PHP 8 were found but they should be fixed in the future. Nicepage is a different tool. Some customers shared their successful experience of using Themler for theme and Nicepage for content. If you have any specific questions about Nicepage, please feel free to ask them here or better at nicepage.com - there are also plenty of tutorials and documentation and of course possibility to evaluate it for free.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hi. Nettie.
May be you have any timetable for next version of Themler for Joomla 4 without bags?
Thank you.

Themler has been around for years and it is a great system. I was concerned too at first.
Looks like Nicepage is an improved better version of Themler which is great. I have built many nice websites using Themelr like this website. I'm a big fan of the simplicity of those "drag and drop" builder. having said that, If you have basic knowlege in programing, I think its always better to have a customized WP theme like here
