When I start the upgrade of Themler to newest version, the upgrade won't finish the upgrade pop screen shows "Please Wait.... The Theme is being updated to the new version." won't go away. I am running WordPress 5.7.2. What's the fix for this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The upgrade finally stopped but didn't complete and now I can no longer edit the template in Themler, all the tools at the top are grayed out. It shows in the top right corner that I am logged into the Themler site. I tried open older templates and I can't edit them either. So I restored my entire site from a backup from this morning (at least 16 hours before I tried to first upgrade Themler), and everything is back to before I upgraded however I still can't edit a Template. Should I reinstall Themler?

Hello,

Where was the theme created initially - in Themler desktop or on your hosted website? Is there any error message in the Console?

Sincerely,
Nettie

Nettie,

Thanks for the response. It started working again and I can now edit my theme again within Themler. The theme was created on my hosted website. There was no error message. I think the problem may have been I was having network connectivity issues which was affecting my connectivity to Themler (within the app), it was showed in the app that I was logged in but I think my network connection was not good, a lot of errors and re-transmits. The only issue I have now is connecting to a YouTube video from my Themler theme someone else has reported this issue: https://answers.themler.io/questions/209888/youtube-video-sharing-problem

Thanks again for your help..

Nettie,

I just figured out the issue. I was able to replicate the problem. If I undo a change within Themler, everything grays out and I can't edit anymore - the buttons are all grayed out. I tried deleting my browser cache and deleting my browser cookies and it still would not work. The hosting company my site is on, recently moved to cloud servers which having caching for websites. I went in and cleared the cache for my website and immediately I was able to edit my theme again. So it is caching that is causing the grayed out buttons but only when I select undo to undo a change.
