I just installed version 4 of Joomla! and I can't edit the template I made in Themler, I made it new, don't update anything, when a working version of Themler for Joomla 4 can be ready

One question, if you are working on support for Joomla 4?
I'm not worried about redesigning the websites, but I want to know if you guys are going to have support for Joomla 4, to update my plan to pro

But no reason to start new project on Joomla 4 with Themler as Themler will stay on old Bootstrap 3, while actual version is Bootstrap 5 (which also use Joomla 4 and many other extensions).

So probably you will need to load Bootstrap twice: Bootstrap 3 from Themler (that no-one use as it too old) and Bootstrap 5 - all this at the same time that will double time of page load and will slow down your website.

Themler team told that migration to Bootstrap 5 is a big work and they will not do it therefore.

Vitaliy WD,

We have answered in another topic. In short - Joomla 4 support is first priority for Themler at the moment without changing it radically. Changing to BS 5 will not be considered before Joomla 4 is supported.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Vitaliy WD,
Good news

Sure, they will make it work perfectly with Joomla 4 and then rework the entire thing to be BS 5. Sorry, They haven't so much as removed Google plus from the icons or updated a single thing in three years, but they are going to redo the whole thing. The crazy developer has nicepage now, he will not spend 800+ hours developing this again. It toasted man.

They just deleted Joomla 4 topic with 16 votes and 71 replies - here's what they think about their customers opinion. Many people here spend a time to discus future and features of Themler... but they just wipe it out.

It's unbelievable. It's all about this company. I was a big fan many years, since Artisteer... but now this is not the same company... something changed there inside, maybe new CEO/CTO or investors... don't know, but company totally different.

I think Themler is dead for this Company and push only Nicepage !?
maybe not enough resources for both.

if you could at least import themler templates completely into nicepage - then it would be easier to switch

Is it planned that Themler will get updates for a longer time ?
I will only buy a new license if there is still development going on.
I may need newest version 5.23 at the moment and still have 5.17. (in changelog see only up to 5.20).
But if I pay for another year, it would be good to know if Themler is not yet declared dead.

Been an Artisteer customer for a few years... over 6 Years.
Would even look at Nicepage but both are too expensive - unless they make me an offer.

Seems that Nicepage stop development too (only small improvements and fixes was added one a month) and here is a proof:

Vertical menu: 43+ people voted and not ready since 2018
Megamenu: 42+ people voted and not ready since 2019
RTL: 20+ people voted and not ready since 2018
Multilanguage: 19+ people voted and not ready since 2019

Each month Nicepage have just a small feature like a "hover animation", new border or shadow to some elements etc. All that need one string of code.

All most voted and most wanted features was ignored for a long time.

Seems that once all "borders" and "shadows" was done, Nicepage will receive just s small bug fixes as Themler now :)

Hello Vitaliy,

Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry to read that you have such an impression from Nicepage updates.

Nicepage development is a continuous process, the team of the developers has not changed there and they are keeping a good pace so far making releases every 1.5-2 weeks. There aren't many software products being updated that often.
Some of the features may look as a "small enhancement" but in reality those changes have taken more human and time resources than one could image. There can be technical challenges, refactoring of the existing code to be able to add something new, etc. Recently added animation effects was not a small task to implement, as it may seem from the first glance.
To sum up, the development pace hasn't decreased or slowed down for Nicepage, and most voted features are still taken into account when planning product roadmap.

Hello Gina.

Thank you for answer.

Well, I can understand that some small features can take much more time. But.. One a year I try new version of Nicepage and there is no major changes at the first look. Anyway, the most important feature for me is multilanguage for HTML projects. This feature, as you can see - not ready since 2019.

Same with Themler... many features still in Wishlist, while Themler itself stop receive major updates.

As one company you show that development can be stopped anytime. Themler is true example and Nicepage looks strange with most voted topics without implementation.

Vitaliy,

I see your point and agree that Themler's development doesn't put much confidence in both products being always updated, but Nicepage is the company's flagman and there are no plans to stop it or slow it down. All features that were voted for will be added sooner or later. I am sure, if you describe the importance of the features you need, Nicepage team would shift those features higher in the priority list. Also, Nicepage is being moved to a new framework - Vue, it does take a lot of resources for development but it would also give much faster interface interaction for the users.

I got input from Nicepage team as well: they are wrapping up the hover animation and then will move on to next "big" features. Based on received votes, they have outlined several of them and one of them will be next to be implemented:
- multiple language support
- mega menu
- publish to online
- products

That's completely laughable. This is EXACTLY the message you gave when you dumped Artisteer and told everyone Themler was the flagship and here to stay. Now you are saying this again? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, won't get fooled again.
