Thanks Nettie,
How nice would it be if all this was intergrated in an interfacing package?
Regards Ger

Hello Ger,

Sorry to hear this. Here are possible ways to make creating themes easier (if they are made to re-create old themes):
- organize controls in Sections and use Export as Zip option in the Section tab, then import them in a new theme using Import as Zip
- there are Export / Import options available in the Posts tab to transfer Posts layout and styling

Sincerely,
Nettie

Nettie can you provide instruction step by step - may be as video?
Thank you.

Hi Nettie,
Thanks for the response.
Your suggestion does not solve the fact that we will have a lot of work to rebuild al the templates from all our customers.
Your discount does not fill the gap of costs in this case.
I lost compleet confidence in Themler and how shall I inform our customers. They will not accept this! This is not understandable for them.
Regards Ger

Hello Ger,

I see your point. We still recommend to consider using Themler for creating new websites for Joomla 4 and evaluate Nicepage - it also supports Joomla 4 now. If you are interested, there is special offer with a big discount for customers with expired Themler license.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hi Nettie,
If we have to build new templates in Joomla4 for all our customers, then I see no reason to use Themler anymore and to change to one of your competitors.
So we wil terminate the license.

Regards Ger

Hello,

Joomla 4 support is here https://answers.themler.io/questions/212738/joomla-4-support-is-available-in-beta
Please note that you will need to download a separate theme for Joomla 4. Unfortunately, Joomla 3 themes cannot be converted automatically.

Sincerely,
Nettie

Hello,

Themler doesn't support Bootstrap 5 at the moment, this concerns Themler for any CMS, including Joomla 4. Joomla 4 support will be added for the existing Themler edition based on Bootstrap 3.

Sincerely,
Nettie

The main question: Will be new Joomla 4 Themler theme based on new Bootstrap 5 (as Joomla 4 itself)?
Or we still get outdated Bootstrap 3 that was released 8 year ago?

Asked this question few times but still no answer... strange things, developers just ignore it. Seems that new Themler for Joomla 4 will be on old Bootstrap 3.... what is the reason to start new projects with such old framework?

If we stay on Themler then how to tell clients that website will be on old Bootstrap 3, while new Bootstrap 5 already stable?
