Since there are so much people here are waiting for an update that probably will never come.....

what are the alternatives for themler?
I have about 15 websites with a themler-template.

After Artisteer, I switched to themler... but this is really getting me depressed.....
We all see that they put more effort in Nicepage, and let themler die slowly. Just as they did with Artisteer.
To be honest, I like Themler, but how they threath the customers is just a lack of respect.

Ich warte ebenfalls sehnsüchtig auf ein Update! Meine Webseiten sind zu 95% Vereinswebseiten. Wie geht das denn hier weiter? Bezahlt habe ich, aber Leistung läßt zu wünschen übrig ....

I'm also eagerly awaiting an update! My websites are 95% club websites. How's it going here? I paid, but performance leaves a lot to be desired....

Hello,

We see your point and are sorry for this. The next update will include fixes for Joomla 4 support, but there is no exact information about time frames at this moment.
Relating the question about alternatives- just reminding you that we do not encourage links to third-party websites and their names on the forum so will have to remove them if there are any. Hopw that is not what you meant to get in the answers.

Sincerely,
Nettie

it's funny how fast the themler-team responds now. Within a couple hours there is a response.
Otherwise it can take days before somebody answers.

and yes, I hoped for names fo alternatives. Since this seems the only way to wake people up.
And reading your answer, you will do more effort to remove the name of software that could be better than themler, instead of making progress of the themler-software.

But we all know by now this is a copy-paste answer: "there is no exact information about time frames at this moment."
And it looks like this will be the same answer for the next weeks and/or months.

Hello,

Of course sorry to hear this. You would wonder, but other private and public topics posted in a line with this one were also answered approximately within the same time.
Sorry but this is Themler forum after all, and we should have reminded our customers about the policy - better than disappoint them with deleting the posts,

Sincerely,
Nettie

Best way to stop your customers from discussing alternatives would be to actually provide updates and fixes so they don't have to.

I have over 30 customer sites built with Themler. I would prefer to stay with Themler, but without any updates or timeline they are forcing me to look for other solutions. Its a shame because Themler was a really powerful tool and would have continued to be if it hadn't been abandoned.

It is a stressful situation, it helps to take deep breaths and make sure I am getting plenty of [].

They will add it first, before providing the screenshot :)

Same here, and as I can read on the forums, for plenty of us.
But it's obvious they dont care.

The same with me!
I don't understand why good software doesn't have bug fixes. Most here would stay with Themler. So everyone migrates and hardly anyone will use Nicepage because it is simply not suitable as a template generator!

Money was also offered to at least remove the bugs, but that doesn't matter either.

A pity.
After more than 10 years with Artisteer and Themler I will now probably leave this company as well.

Best regards
Thorsten

Well, it's really sad how it turned out with Themler, but I think this is the only right decision to make for a variety of reasons - especially when you build websites commercially.

Before I switched to Joomla 4 with a few my websites I also looked for alternative program and because I haven't found a proper one, I tried to create templates based on default Joomla template (Cassiopeia). Of course at first it is not as easy as building template in Themler, but with some additional CSS I was able to recreate all designs made previously in Themler and everything works like a charm. Perhaps it could be a solution for you too? If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I totally get your frustration with Themler. It feels like history repeating itself after Artisteer. I was in the same boat, wondering whether to stick with it or finally move on. So, I did what I always do when I'm stuck—I spun my Yes or No Picker Wheel.

It landed on "Yes," which meant it was time to find an alternative. I started looking into Nicepage (since it seems to be their focus now), but also checked out other options like Elementor, Brizy, and Pinegrow. Honestly, the wheel’s decision saved me from waiting endlessly for an update that might never come.

Sometimes, a simple yes or no is all you need to break out of indecision and move forward!
