Please note that Themler for Wordpress doesn't support PHP 8 yet, this update doesn't include fixes for it. Please try switching to PHP 7.x and let us know if the issue is still present.

It is not recommended, to update PHP in the local installation for Themler desktop. For complee reinstallation please follow the steps below:
1. Backup all theme folders somewhere on your computer if there are any. The path is shown in the Theme Management screen after selecting some CMS, for example, C:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress.
2. Uninstall Themler completely and also check the box for "Remove all CMS content".
3. Check if the following folders are still present:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler
C:\ProgramData\Themler

4. If they exist, remove them.
5. Reboot the machine after uninstalling Themler, so that all Themler services are removed for sure.
6. Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall.
7. Download latest version of Themler for Windows from themler.io, install it and try to start with Themler for any CMS and create a theme.

I did all that and when I tried to open Wordpress in Themler to create a theme it says it only works in Chrome and Firefox and I was using Firefox and I have the latest version. Why doesn't the software open independently and must open in a browser?

Also the Themler plugin for Wordpress doesn't work as the error message says that there is so plugin to install.

Themler doesn't work independently as a software. It works with Joomla on the website online but does not work with Wordpress. It says plugin not found.

The desktop doesn't work at all. And the link does not open to the editor in the website in Firefox but it works for Joomla in Chrome. It doesn't at all for Wordpress anywhere.

I found out what I was doing wrong. I uploaded the Themler Wordpress template as a plugin. So that is solved. I still cannot get the Themler software to open independently as a desktop application.
