Themler plugin not showing up on Firefox in Joomla

Hi,

This happened a couple of months ago and then it resolved itself but now it's nor working again in Joomla on Firefox but it works on Chrome. All web browsers are updated. I am using PC on Wndows.

Hello,

Could you please run Themler in Chrome, then update it to the latest Beta version v.556, save and after this clear cache in Firefox and try to run Themler there?

Thank. Now it works. How do I get the independent desktop software? When I click on the installed software it opens in my default browser.

Hi again,

I encountered the same problem with a subdomain and did the procedure all over again but this time it didn't help. It works i Chrome but not in Firefox. ???

Hello,

To run Themler desktop in Firefox, please try to run Themler on Firefox by opening this URL in the browser: http://127.0.0.1:12080/themler_XXXXXXXXXX/startup/
Where individual numbers are replaced by X. These are shown at the bottom of your Theme Management screen in Themler desktop.

As for the second website - does it have v.556 at the moment? Please make sure to clear browser cache after updating the theme.

Hi,

It worked as I had to update every plugin to the latest and then clear the cache in Firefox.

Why doesn't the Themler software work independently like Adobe's Dreamweaver for example?

Hello,

Thanks for letting us know. Though Themler desktop requires online access not so often as when you use Themler online, it still requires access to our servers while saving, exporting accessing the libraries and in a few other cases. This makes it impossible to run Themler fully offline.
