Themler Update v. 559 - PHP 8 support for Wordpress and Joomla themes added

I can not understand the problem.
Themler is already executable in the beta version. Why isn't it further developed? It can't be that big of a problem and it can't cost a lot of money.
Nicepage is NOT an ALTERNATIVE to Themler. People here need a template generator, not a website generator!
As I said, I don't understand.
Otherwise, please open source the code so that Themler can be further developed.

I can't use Virtuemart with Joomla4 and PHP7.4.
Years ago I switched from Artisteer to Themler, but I can't migrate my sites today to NicePage... and if after a few years they release a new template builder I will have to migrate... it doesn't convince me.

I think it is a good idea, because we need a template designer, not a web generator, nor do we need web hosting as they add in NicePage.
I also used Artisteer, then came Themler, but now you can't use NicePage.

I have exactly the same opinion as Web-Art, I find it more than disappointing. You put us in an extremely uncomfortable situation. Please move!

Is there an update on this? PHP 8.1 is most of the time working. But now with 8.2 the whole websites I use Themler themes on aren't anymore.

They only answer here if the matter has already been settled. Bug fixes and updates are promised every few months, but nothing happens.

We should all get together and file an international class action lawsuit.

It's high time to switch.

But which software?

I have fixed the errors! Thanks to ChatGPT. The errors came from two files, which I corrected with the given instructions from ChatGPT. You can find those in the attachment. This is what ChatGPT gave me back:

To resolve the error related to PHP 8, where a required parameter $tag
follows an optional parameter $imageHtml, you can apply the following
steps:

Swap the positions of the required and optional parameters: Update the
function or method so that the required parameter $tag comes before
the optional parameter $imageHtml. For example, if the original
function declaration looks like this:

function my_function($imageHtml = '', $tag)

You can update it to:

function my_function($tag, $imageHtml = '')

Be sure to also update any function calls to pass the arguments in the
correct order.

You have to download the ZIP which is attached here in my post and extract the two PHP files and upload the to you plugins\themler-core\shortcodes folder in WordPress and overwrite the two files.

Hope this helps anyone.

I don't know. I don't use Joomla that much. But you could debug your Joomla installation and ask ChatGPT about the errors you are getting.

Thanks very much. I have no problem paying for your services. Only a solution via MS Teams Meeting would not be feasible for me. My English isn't good enough for this - I'm using a google translator for this forum - and I probably don't have enough programming knowledge to understand it.

Would it be possible for me to install a Joomla 4 version with a fresh Themler beta on our server and give you the access data for the backend and FTP and you adapt the files?

The biggest problem is with the menu. If another level or a submenu item is added, only an error message appears.

I would gladly pay you for the effort.

Maybe it would also be interesting for Themlers to eliminate the errors and they take over the fixes.
