Hello.

I have the problem that I cannot open Themler Beta for Joomla 4 after migrating from Joomla 3rd to 4th.

The 'Edit' button does not click and therefore Themler does not start.

I've tried it in different ways.

I use the latest versions everywhere.

Does anyone else have these problems?

As far as I know no one can.
It only works in a new blank Joomla4.
And then I use JMigrator, works pretty well

This is absolutely unacceptable! It's a shame how we're treated here!

Thanks for the tip.
How do you go about it? Do you install a fresh J4 first, then create the template with Themler first and then use JMigrator for the content?

  1. frise joomla4 (create a new administrator otherwise you will get JMigrator overwriting the old one and it won't work properly)
  2. make 3 pages (with some content)
  3. create 3 menu buttons for those pages (otherwise Themler won't work as it should)
  4. then install the latest blank template from Themler (check if the template works properly and adjust it if necessary)
  5. then you can install and use JMigrator (you must first set and save the settings in JMigrator)
  6. If all goes well, the old administrator account will still work
    good luck

Before upgrading as always take a full backup of the website. Navigate to System > Global configurations > Server > Error Report > Maximum. ... Navigate to Components > Joomla updates > Options. Set the Upgrade to Joomla Next. Click on updates to see Joomla 4 update notification.

Thanks for your tips.

It would be much easier if Themler worked properly after the migration. I think it wouldn't be that much of a hassle for the programmers to make the edit button clickable.

Hello Support?
Will this still be realized?

As always, make a complete backup of the website before upgrading basket random. Go to Server > Error Report > Maximum under System > Global Configurations. Go to Components > Updates for Joomla > Options.

Now I have the same problem when I want to migrate from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5:

After the successful migration from J4 to J5, I can click the button: Edit Template, but nothing happens.

2024-05-15-Templates-Stil-bearbeiten---Hannover-Meeting-2024---Administration.jpg

When I try to start the template from the URL I get an error message (500).

With a new Joomla 5 installation it works with the same template.
But I need a way to migrate a J4 to J5.

However, the hope that someone from support will respond is nil, so I hope there is another user here who has an idea on how I can fix the problem.

Many thanks and kind regards
Thorsten

I'm so happy with Payvantage. I needed a new phone but was concerned about my credit. Their no-credit approval process was super fast and easy. I got the latest Android phone without any stress, and the payment plan is very manageable. Highly recommend!
