Hi!

Im creating a Joomla template, and after one of the updates, the Lorem Ipsum content / header styles are missing from the sidebars. The only thing that can be seen is: Joomla module position.

If I create a Wordpress, template, the standard items like Recent Comments and Recent Posts are available in the sidebar.

Another issue, is that the Updates menu item shows that there is still an available update. No matter how many times I upgrade, another upgrade is available.

Any ideas what the problems might be?

Thanks

Joomla modules content is edited in the Administration section. As for the Updates, try saving your example and then reopen it.

Hi!

Thanks for getting back!

It seems like a major pain to have to go between the admin and the development side to set up sample text. Im sure this is not how this program is designed to work since it would be a huge waste of time. And I do believe that the goal of Themler is to save time. It was working fine before one of the updates (I cant tell which version I am running). If I select the Block text and select the different format options, then there is no way to see what it is that is being changed.

Joomla missing sample text

Compare this to the Wordpress templates - sample text shows up without having to go to the admin section...
Wordpress showing the sample text

It appears that my Joomla default templates are totally messed up now too. If I start from scratch, then they always show up with an empty module. Any ideas would be great!

thanks!

I was able to fix the issue by reinstalling and removing all of the templates that I have created. Obviously not an ideal solution..

Hello,
on the second screenshot
http://s29.postimg.org/cjjhrbnqv/Themler_for_Word_Press.jpg
you see the sample content added on the cloud WP site. This is not content which "exists" in Themler theme. It is sample content from real cloud CMS.

To see content on the left sidebar in your theme you have to add a module to "left" position in Joomla admin back end.
As for Post Header - it looks like article header was disabled under Joomla settings.

The following articles should be helpful for you

Hi Aileen!

Thanks for getting back. The confusion is when you delete a joomla position and then try and add a new one. Every time a Joomla position is added, a new name is given. Therefor there will not be any information being pulled from the sample database. So as you stated, you simply have to give the position name that matches the database position!

For anyone else, the position name can be found in the upper left column of the properties once the joomla position is selected. Then you can access the module names: File>CMS Admin Panel

Thanks!
