Hat schon jemand versucht ein bestehendes Themler Template für joomla3 auf joomla4 zu installieren? Geht das?

Wir haben noch mehre Kunden die leider noch auf Joomla3 unterwegs sind. Diese Kunden möchten auch vorerst kein neues Template welches Joomla4 oder Joomla5 unterstüzt. Gibt es irgend eine möglichkeit das Template Joomla 4 tauglich zu bekommen?

Die letzten Beta-Updates brachten zumindest gefühlt etwas mehr geschwindigkeit, bei dem Aufrufen der Webseite.

Has anyone tried to install an existing Themler template for joomla3 on joomla4? Is that possible?

We still have several customers who are unfortunately still on Joomla3. These customers do not want a new template that supports Joomla4 or Joomla5 for the time being. Is there any way to make the template Joomla 4 compatible?

The last beta updates brought at least felt a little more speed when calling up the website.

We are sorry for delay in response. In case the question is still actual, here is our info relating Joomla 3/4/5 themes. Unfortunately, there isn't any option to convert the theme to Joomla 4. What we can suggest is to use these steps to re-create the theme on your website with Joomla 4:

  1. Install the default Themler theme for Joomla 4/5, on your website with Joomla 4 or localhost.
  2. Re-create the theme using the opened Joomla 3 theme:
    • organize controls in Sections and use Export as Zip option in the Section tab, then import them in a new theme using Import as Zip
    • there are Export / Import options available in the Posts tab to transfer Posts layout and styling
