Themler Hotfix and Desktop Update (25-August-2015)

Hi everyone,

Hot Fixes:

  • Improved WP 4.3 compatibility (fixed issue with menu and widgets in preview).
  • Fixed Insufficient permissions error in Drupal themes.
  • Various small fixed.

Themler Desktop update

  1. Added Themler Debug mode which includes Chrome console logs into Diagnostics Tool logs.
    If you have issues with using Themler, please run Themler (Debug mode), reproduce the issue and send us logs from Diagnostics Tool.

  2. Fixed conflict with running PHP on computers with existing instance of different PHP version

  3. Fixed issue with running Themler when VBS extension is associated with a different application.

  4. Fixed Download As Zip issue with Drupal

  5. Improved logging.

Hmmm , I'm not sure about it ,but now i can add a button in the header easily , I'm new with themler and maybe we can do this thing before the last update.

They mention it in 18-August update

You missunderstand something.

I would like explanation what "Section" control is for. We can put some own name on it, but for what use ?

Small window with presets under name is empty. Is it supposed to show our own block presets ? Something reusable from theme to theme ? On same theme, etc..

Anyway , have been working last 2-3 days a bit more intense with Themler, due to one deadline.
Amazing what secrets and nice things hide inside this Application.

I know now you can override CSS from most of the WordPress plugins, thanks to standard that CSS rules targeted for one block (say for instance bd-postheader-5) have priority for browsers. Many plugins have filter to disable its CSS, or do it with Plugin Organizer plugin.

Just some examples where you can completely bypass plugins styling and make your own:
- Contact Form 7, other forms
- Events calendars, Events listings
- ALL HTML tables plugins generates
- Custom fields display
- Anything in plugins using H tags
- Weather widgets
- Go to the Posts tab - Post content -(or Widget content) - More styles. Anything listed there that exist in a plugin you can override and style beyond plugin styling.

  • Nex will be to try what I can do about bbPress, buddypress styling. Still black hole for me.

The option mentioned in the 'Themler Update (18-Aug-2015)'

Section control that allows to add ready to use sections in one click

This control is still under development, and it is fully functional in current update. It should be ready to use in the next major (not hot-fix) update.
