Ok I've styled my vertical menu in default styles in Themler then installed template in Joomla.
I've created menu item, menu module and gave vmenu class to it and nothing changes it still doesn't look as the one I styled in Themler.

Hello

Please make sure that you added exactly Module Class Suffix, not Menu class suffix:

Also note that to see the changes made in Themler on the live site you should click "Apply theme to CMS".

Thank you,
Olivia

I don't get it.

I created a vmenu in Joomla. (ofcourse set the module class suffix to vmenu). I started Themler from desktop, changed the Vmenu style and export it as zip without the "Include Themler for custumizing this theme" option.

There is nothing changed in Joomla when I install the zip file en set the theme as default template.

Oke I found it but i have some questions to be sure for some things:

Is it only possible for styling the vertical menu from editing the theme/template in Joomla itself? (I mean with the edit button in the installed template in Joomla)

If yes, then I must install first the template with Themler including for editing en after that saving the editted template as zip en reinstall in Joomla when I dont want that a customer is seeing the Themler Eddit button???

Why isn't it possible to style the vertical menu just like the main menu and save like zip. I want to make the complete template without using Joomla and when ready install it as a zip without the editting function.

Regards,

Richard

Hi,

As was mentioned before, you can style the Vertical Menu under the Styles tab in Themler and then those styles will be applied to the vertical menu when you add it in Joomla. If you do not style it under the Styles tab, then the only option is indeed install the template, add the module from the Joomla admin and then load the editor again from the Joomla admin panel.

Sincerely,
Hella

These instructions are very clear. I followed them but they did not work for me at all. I am editing the theme from Joomla backend.

Hi,

Your problem is that the vertical menu added from the Joomla back end does not take the default vertical menu styles? In this case please open the template from the back end, click on the vertical menu in Themler editor and there should be the Reset to default option in the vertical menu options in the left panel.
If that does not help, please create a private ticket with the access to your back end and the detailed explanation of the issue.

Sincerely,
Hella

Unfortunately Themler does not support such type of the vertical menu at this time.

Thank you,

Hi,

what about an update to open the vertical menu downwards ??

This behavior can be partially achieved by enabling responsive mode in Desktop under the Vertical Menu tab >> Responsive >> Display on... "Desktop or Less".

Thank you,
Olivia

I created some vertical menu's in a sidebar
The module is a "menu", and it has the class-suffix " vmenu"

in Themler I have a markup for the vertical menu
In the website there is just a plain vertical menu, without any markup

what do I forget?
