Implementing user discussions on site

Hi, I run a website that focuses on reviews and informational content related to online gambling, casinos, and gaming platforms. The site is mainly a review-based resource where different casinos, games, and features are analyzed in detail. For example, I have a page that is essentially a detailed review of hitspin casino. I would like visitors to be able to interact with that review by leaving comments and possibly submitting their own ratings, similar to how review platforms like Trustpilot work, but focused specifically on the topic of the review. At the same time, I would like each review page to be linked to its own dedicated forum section, so that users can click through and see a broader discussion related to that specific review in a forum-style format. I do not yet have experience implementing this kind of hybrid setup, and I would appreciate advice on how this can be done in practice using a CMS and Themler.

You can do this quite simply on WordPress. The review stays a normal page, you add comments and ratings with a review plugin, and then link that page to a related forum discussion. In practice, this usually means creating one forum topic per review and adding a link to it from the review page, with a link back to the review from the forum. If you want to go a bit further, the topic can also be created automatically when a new review is published.

For the forum itself, bbPress is generally enough. It works with WordPress user accounts, gives you basic moderation tools, and lets you keep discussions organized without having to run a separate forum system.

Implementing user discussions alongside review content is a great way to increase engagement and credibility. Combining on-page comments and user ratings with a dedicated forum thread for each review allows both quick feedback and deeper discussion. You could even highlight relevant promotions, such as KfcMenuAustralia special offers, within discussion areas to demonstrate how targeted deals can be surfaced alongside user-generated content, turning static reviews into more dynamic, community-driven resources.

Your idea of combining review pages with a comment system and a dedicated forum section is a smart way to build community engagement and richer user feedback. Wikipedia notes that content management systems (CMS) allow websites to integrate features like comments, ratings, and discussion forums, helping users share experiences and build trust around review-based content.
Linking each review page to its own forum thread can encourage deeper discussions while keeping the main review clean and informative.
Also, when users sign up or verify accounts for participation, processes similar to identity checks like NBI clearance show how verification can help maintain transparency and trust in online communities.
