Wordpress theme includes Woocommerce by default

Selecting a Wordpress theme to create automatically adds all the WooCommerce files which I don't want. The products page can't be deleted and on export all the cart and products php files are included along with dozens of others. I want none of these. My licence is for Wordpress only anyway. How can I stop these unwanted files being created? I can't use Themler for a client if all these files are included.
