Hi,

below a number of things I would like to see added to Themler (Magento specific)

  • Ability to delete a theme. -> After updating themes you might want to delete the old themes, save space on your hosting.
  • Productslider -> Layout per productslider. This could function the same way as with other Default or custom styling.
  • adding of custom class names -> This could be handy to make specific changes to class
-The ability to format custom classes and display them under styles or on the page they are shown.
  • Product sorter dropdown. Custom formatting as if it was a menu dropdown.
  • Adjust coding of an element. For instance a product headeror the product sale button. Allowing us to change the code from within the tooling. For instance to change an image based upon the language of the store. Or replacing a slider header with an image.
-Custom menu. -> The ability to create a custom menu block and fill the menu with links of our own choice.

I have a lot of other ideas, that would summarize to a combination of themler and an IDE.

regards
Jurjen

Hi,

I've added your suggestions to our wish list.

Ability to delete a theme

If you're working on your local/remote hosting you can remove the theme in the Theme management dialog:

Thank you,
Olivia

Hi Olivia,

That looks like Wordpress. But I am talking about Magento. I do not see a X. You can choose between settings, edit, preview, publish.

Jurjen

Hi,

This is Magento. But, anyway, the dialog is the same for all CMSs. If you're working on local/hosted Magento (not our cloud) you should be able to access this dialog using "Open" option on the Files tab.

Thank you,
Olivia

HOW DO YOU DELETE THE UNWANTED THEME WITHOUT ACCESSING THE BILLION THEME TAB IN MAGENTO ADMIN ??????????

I have asked the same question separately, Please reply - In our case I think there are so many themes has been created that there is a possibility that this could be the cause of our problem of reaching limits to Database connections. You have suggested to increase the connection limit, we done that too, giving more connection meant allowing more sleeping connections to the unwanted processes.

Hi,

We answered you in your topic about the problem. In general, themes are located, as usual, in the app/ and skins/ directories.

Thank you,
Olivia
