Menu-Drag and Drop- Does not work at all

I am unable to create any kind of custom theme with Themler. When I go to the drag and drop menu, dragging and dropping sections or elements or whatever you want to call them does nothing at all. Most times when I try to make changes, I simply cannot do anything with Themler it's a frustrating waste of hours trying to figure out how to do things only to realize you cannot do what you want to do.

When I try to move sections by dragging and dropping it simply does nothing. There is no way to drag and drop or move sections around that seems to actually work. Here is a video I attached to show what I keep trying to do. Obviously, what I am trying to do is not working in any way so I can only use Artisteer for now. Can anyone please help?

I tried to attach the video so you can see what I am trying to do. I am just at my wit's end with Themler and the inability to do anything with it except create very basic sites with some animations. None of the changes ever take effect, there is no way to learn how to do this, when I try to change images I click on some headings in menus, others pop up and disappear, and it's just a very depressing way to spend hours trying to create things that never take effect.

Can anyone please try to explain how to move these sections around? Is it possible? If yes, what steps do I take that will actually work and save?

Hello David,
the issue you describe is pretty strange, I (and a lot of other Themler users) may drag and drop Themler controls including Sections without a problem.
Unfortunately the video is not available. If possible please zip it and then attach, it'd be helpful to see what happens for you.

I am very happy for those that can use Themler without issue, all I can do from my perspective is ask for help in trying to learn how to use it and try to ask for help when problems arise. I have attached the video again twice so hopefully one of those videos can be viewed.

I click on the section, drag and drop it, and nothing happens. If a section does go somewhere when dropped it immediately goes to the top section and cannot be moved to a lower level - so (to me) cannot be used for clients.

Please let me know if this video helps. If I need to repeat the actions and make another video I will do so, as I love Themler for what it could be and what it represents (but for now, I can't use it except for experimentation).

Hi,

No your video does not help. :)
You can not share video on this forum, put the video on YouTube or elsewhere, or as indicated by Aileen, compress into ZIP your video file. You can also convert your video file into animated GIF .

Just in case, when you try to put items in your template, you must be in the insert menu.

I am new to Themler and am having this same issue.
MacBook Pro Late 2013
OS X 10.9.5 (13F1112)
Google Chrome Version 46.0.2490.80 (64-bit)

I created a theme some months ago using a template as a base and was able to D&D and resize elements.

Things are different now somehow:
Clicking on the insert button shows all the various things I can insert. Hovering over an item (say, Row with Columns) will highlight it, but the item will not accept a click to drag it anywhere. Weird, because I can still change fonts and colours and backgrounds, but I cannot add elements to the page. The only thing I can affect the position of in the preview with my mouse seems to be the outermost wrapper, whatever it's called.

Help.

I 'm also can't drag and drop in online and offline editor - Editor simply Crash and reloads as soon as I'm trying to Drag the elements. creating Drupal template.
