Hi there

I am trying to add google maps to a single page on a Joomla template, but when i add it, it spans across all the pages.
Is there a way that i can disable this? or make it only show on that page?

Thanks
Evan

Evan,

It seems that you are adding the Google Maps into the shared area marked with orange box. Add it in the areas marked with blue box on that page.

Thank you!

I have the same problem . I enclose a module position , accept this in the admin area and if I want to assign Google Maps only one menu item in the template , it will still be displayed on each side . Can you give a short step for step instructions ?

Hello WebGrafik-Design ,
please submit a new private topic and provide access to your Joomla admin back end or attach the theme (if you're working with Themler desktop). And provide link to the page that demonstrates the issue.

regards,
Aileen

Good evening
I tried blue or orange areas.
It is still showing on every page that has the template "page".

In the mean time, we are 3 years further since this topic was started.
How to fix in actual version of Themler .469 ?

Greetings

Hi,

If you place the control into the orange area, it will appear on every page of your site as that is a shared area. If you add it into the blue area, it will appear in every page that is using that template, in your case Page template.
If you need Google Maps on the one page only, then create a custom template for that page of the corresponding type and add the control there. Then assign that custom template to the desired page in the site admin area.

Sincerely,
Hella
