Absolute Content across all Slides. How is this done?

Hi all

I can add content to individual Slides no problem but how can you add content that will remain as the slides continue to change?

I have tried positioning a container to a slide using 'absolute in slider' but it only displays as that slide is active then disappears when the next slide is active.

Cheers

Hi Richard - add to the container a z-index property with value 3 or more.

Hi

Any progress on this option please? Just to clarify... I need an element of any kind to stay where it is across multiple slides.

At the moment if I try and copy the same element on all slides as a workaround it still fades as each slide comes in.

Cheers

Hi,

It is suppose to be a control which is located over the slider and the slider animation should not affect it.

Thanks,
Bruno Simões

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. What exactly result you want to achieve?
Is it suppose to be a control which is located on all slides and Slider animation should affect it or it is suppose to be a control which is located over the Slider and Slider animation should not affect it?

In the second case you can try the following solution:

  • put the Slider into Layout container control and add 100vh height to the container and 100% height to Slider.
  • then insert, for example, another container inside this Container with Slider and change its Positioning to "Absolute in Container". This container will contain the desired content, e.g. Text controls.
And then there are a few options on how to position this Container with Text. It depends on the desired result. For example: add 100% width and height to Container and add "Layout: Align Content" extension to this Container. In this case the Container will overlap the Slider. The Slider will be accessible through the Outline.

In the first case it's better to copy the control between Slides using Copy&Paste (not Paste and Share).

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello Support,

There are any other way to do this (same static content across multi slides)? Can you explain how?

Thank you!

Hello,

Currently there is no special option for sharing control between slides in Slider. However I have added your suggestion to our Wishlist.
The desired result should be achieved when using a container or box with controls in it, and then using the option "Paste and Share" for all other slides. However at the moment we have noticed some issues with using this option as regards to slides, and our developers are investigating them.
I will let you know as soon as the issues are fixed and also provide more detailed steps if you would like to.

Thank you,
