Hello, I use the desktop version of Themler.
When I try to import a template saved from Artisteer, I get the following error due to an incorrect url:

The requested URL /themler_1915321035/joomla\administrator/index.php was not found on this server

Note the backslash () after joomla !
Replacing it with a forward slash opens the right url.

Regards,
Eric

Hi,

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the desktop application. Also it is working in Chrome or FF?

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi,
I use version 4.3.0.60858 standard edition (downloaded through a link on Themler) and FF (fully updated).
Is there a more recent version of Artisteer? The website still offers 60745.

Regards,
Eric

Hi,

Cannot see how that would help; there is a backslash in the url! Was it inserted through FF?
Chrome not installd right now

Regards,
Eric

Tried Chrome nevertheless and indeed no error there.
But I hope the FF error can be fixed as I prefer FF.

Eric

Hi Eric,
it seems to be the same issue as reported in topic http://answers.themler.com/questions/35509/import-artisteer-joomla-template-exported-without-content-fails
Please re-export template from Artisteer with content.

I exported Themler Joomla theme in Artisteer (with Content) using .artx file you attached in the aforementioned topic. I managed to open it in Themler Desktop using 'Import from ZIP' option without a problem. When importing content

I selected Cancel option.

Aileen

Hi Aileen,

Yes I also discovered that exporting with content, and then discard the content during import, does work.
Not very elegant, but it's workaround.

Eric

Hello Eric,
it's a known issue in Artisteer. The fix will be included into the next Artisteer update.

Another question is: can I start the desktop Themler with Chrome, when Chrome is not my default browser?
It seems that for Themler it's unavoidable to use Chrome, but default I want to stick to Firefox for all the rest.

Eric

Hello Eric,
you may launch Themler Desktop and it should work without a problem if Chrome is not default browser. Chrome just should be installed on your computer.

I have the same problem and I think the cause is that in Artisteer, you can only export to a Tumblr instead of Themler. So it is not recognized. I tried importing the zip file and even an artx file from the unziped directory. Nothing works. I strongly believe that we have been gyped people. Count the lost of your money into gained experience.
