I am having issues with a Theme i am working on. I put a text box in the footer of the theme. When i do an export or a refresh content the box looses all its formatting and i am unable to change the text or the text box settings. I have to delete the column it is in and redo the whole thing. This is an issue since i can not export it without it loosing that formatting...

I've attached a screen shot of before and one of after a refresh. Any ideas of how to fix this issue?

Hi,

We are aware of this issue, our developers will look into it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Meanwhile you can open the Text control from the outline and select the Edit option to change it.

Sincerely,
Hella

Even if I change it there the same thing happens. No matter where or how I change the formatting as soon as I export it to a zip it wipes the formatting. Is there any ETA on that fix? This just starting happening.

Same problem here.. but then with a textbox in my sidebar. Tried everything to keep the text where i put it but nothing seems to work! Very frustrating to have to remove the box everytime this happends and start all over again. I hope the developers soon come with a solution!

Hi,

You do not need to start all over again. You can open the HTML Source option for the Text control and edit the text there. It should not cause any visual differences on the live site.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. The problem will be fixed in the next update.

Sincerely,
Hella

I am having similar problem also with v.130 as well.

After editing text in HTML Source mode, text box will appear empty with edited text below box. When reentering HTML Source editor the text shows empty.

Please fix. This is the next update since September.

Hello Roberto,
if Text control type is detected as "text"

TextText.png

The DIV tag should not be added when you press Enter inside the text. But <br> should be added.
Could you provide step by step description including couple of screenshots?
And when exactly the text disappears?

regards,
Aileen

Hi,
I Had the same issues, I solved it by unchecking the "Override default theme footer content" in the CMS admin panel, theme options.
Ciao silvia
