Change text in Wordpress backend

Hi,

Just made a new Wordpress theme. But when I changed the text in a page (Wordpress backend) nothing changed?
I used the text control in when I build the theme.

When I use a widget control it work fine, but I don't wanna make widget area's everywhere.
Anybody with a solution?

Hello

Do you mean Text control? The content of this control is a part of the theme. Unfortunately you can't edit its content in WordPress.

Hello

Themler does not create sample data which can be edited via CMS admin pane.
The content of Text, Text Group, HTML, etc is static and can't be edited in WordPress. However we consider such functionality.
In the meantime you can use Sidebar controls or shortcodes. All Shortcodes are listed under the Top Menu >> Help.

Hope the functionality will be available soon. I think it's a crucial function that should be integrated, like artisteer.

Hi thanks for this but it did not help me because beyond settings > general > the other options were not there.

Your videos make it look so easy to change the text but because there is nothing but whistling and no voice providing explanations I cannot very well follow what is happening. Is there another way to change the text? Thanks, Helena

Hi,

If you have added the text using the Headline control and not another one, then the problem should not exist. The text should be editable from the back end. Please create a private topic with the access to your back end so we could see the issue with the headline.
