I have the mobile menu on responsive for phones to open onclick. I tried the other ways, it is the same,
the menu tab that has submenus will not open on click at all.
example: View on cellphone

Hi,

I don't see any menus on the page you've presented:
http://www.nationalsportsmed.com/orthomed/?page_id=4731

Could you please explain how can I reproduce the issue.

Also please check that your submenu is actually enabled:

Thanks,

Check again.
I did not realize that when I duplicated the home template, the menu disappeared on the new template. I put all pages to home template now.

Hello,

I have checked your website on the phone and also resized browser window and the submenu items are opened fine when clicked. Could you please let us know for what exactly parent items the subitems won't open, and also what OS and browser is used on the phone.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

Hi Alisa,

This is the way it works with such responsive menu level settings in Artisteer. Please note that with “Expand on Click” clicking a parent item opens up a list with subitems but does not load the parent item page.
You may consider using “Expand with Reload”. With “Expand with Reload” clicking a parent item opens up a list with subitems and loads the parent item page. If you would like to open one of the subitems, you should then click again the menu itself and select the subitem to open.
For the menu in responsive mode it can be set in In the Menu tab -> Submenu -> Levels -> Options -> Levels -> Responsive Levels.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

Hi Nettie,

Here we are, February 2018, and the mobile menu in Themler not only does not have the same settings now that you described, but it still doesn't work properly.

The only settings that "do" work are selecting "Expand with Reload". No other option will open the sub-menu items, unless "Expanded" is used which, unfortunately, is what I'm "STUCK" using until I can make my own menu - since Themler has no intentions of every touching the mobile menu or any other part of Themler unless someone says there is an "existing" part that does not work. Even then, it could be weeks (or months in another case on which I'm awaiting response) before Themler will respond.
Expand with Reload is nothing more than the poor user chasing the menu around.

It's simply outlandish to think that all of us who have paid over the years are now ignored because Themler is spending the money collected on another project that will mandate we'll all have to pay again for "starting over" - Artisteer to Themler to "whatever-the-software-is-called".

I know it's not you in specific, but you must be able to scream loud enough to management to get them to listen.

Hi,

We have 3 options for the mobile menu submenus.
1. Expanded. When the submenus are automatically opened when you open the menu on mobile.
2. On Click. You click the parent item and it shows the drop-down with the submenus without loading the parent item page.
3. With Reload. You click the parent item and the page is reloaded with the page the parent item shows and when you open menu after that the submenus are already expanded and you can choose them.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi,
In your case it looks like there is some conflict with JS files. Please try to disable all the plug-ins and see if that works fine then. If that does not help, create a private ticket with the access to your site back end.

Hella

Hi Hella,

Thank you. Yes, it was either one of these plugins: Auto-optimizer or WP super cache. I removed them and now it is working.

Hi,

I remember the errors were something about the optimizer, so it may be it.
Feel free to contact us in any other occasion.

Hi, so another year has gone by and this is still a mess. I have a large, really large amount of submenus on my site but all top level menus are pages. So having the menu expanded is so not an option but I must have a way to let the top level menus open.

Why can't Themler do some updates on this program? It's always the next thing you guys are working on. I don't want to use 3rd party menu systems on my site.

Can you offer an update to make this work where when the menu is expanded and you click on the top level item again it opens? This is how other mobile menus work. I cannot imagine all of use could use this feature.

Thank you

So this is what is going on again, support is just too busy with the new product to work with all the existing users who need help?
