Hi,
I currently use Artisteer. I think about taking an Themler licence but I previously have two questions.

  1. Can I import an old Artisteer file (version 4.2) and import it in Themler? (it would avoid doing all the work already done)
  2. Is there any theme suggestion, as in artisteer?

What are exactly the difference between artisteer and themler?

Thanks for your help.
Patrice

I haven't been using Themler for very long but I been using Artisteer for a while. So I don't know much of the differences for what I played around. I like Artisteer better but since they offer both for the price of one I've been playing around with it and some of the difference I have noticed is your able to drop & drag blocks and such around which is one thing that can't be done in Artisteer. As far as artisteer 4.2 exporting to themler. I don't think you can. But if I'm correct when you buy a Themler license you can get a new Artisteer license. I know when you buy an artisteer license you get a themler license as well.

Hi,

  1. We now have the Artisteer 4.3 version that can export WP and Joomla templates into the Themler format.

  2. There is no suggestion option in Themler, but you can choose some presets for different parts of the theme like header, footer, posts and so on.

You can also look into some Themler overviews to see the application possibilities:
