What is the easiest way to adjust layout for all devices?

I am getting frustrated with trying to figure out how to best adjust each device layout. Is there an easier way to accomplish the resizing process, especially the menus? Also, is there a way to have something NOT show up on a device? meaning, can I hide any elements? Sample attached is my try at adjusting on a tablet device with no success.

Hi,

You can go to the Menu >> Responsive >> Switch to responsive and set it to Tablets. Then the menu will collapse into the responsive mode starting from tablets.
Also you can disable any element for the specific responsive mode using the icons in the Display On option like shown on the screen shot:

Thanks for your response. I'm still a bit confused. Is your sample image talking only about the menu resizing or how to resize the entire device's layout? Because I also need to know what is the easiest way to adjust the device's layout without having to click on every item and resizing them. Can this be done in one action? Please advise. thanks

P.s...I would like to also add to my prior post about resizing the entire layouts as per devices....when it comes to the tablet (ipad for example) it looks like it resizes for a portrait window and not a landscape window. How do you make it resize for either direction? Thanks

Hello,
please refer to this topic
http://answers.themler.com/questions/5110/responsive-design
which explains how to adapt image, slider images sizes for the different screen sizes.

As for portrait and landscape modes, unfortunately the landscape is not supported in Themler however if you set up page to look good in Portrait mode it should be OK in Landscape as well.
Let us know if you get any problem with it.

Regards,
Aileen
