So Themler is a "rented" software and I will not have the choice to renew the licence every year as long as I want to use it ? That's a very big difference, it should be notified clearly.

Themler is not rented software, it is totally different software with different subscription.
In fact the subscription is very close to Artisteer one. I.e. you purchase 1 year subscription and get one year of free updates. When the subscription period expires you need to renew the subscription.

Artisteer users may get Themler with a discount.

I'm having the same issue and have lost my Artisteer License keys so i'm unable to activate Themler

1 - my artisteer licence expired since December if I purchase themeler now with a discount when will be the expiry, is it one year from now or til December only.
2 - after expiry am I going to be able to use themeler without without updates or I have to resubscribe to be able to export files?
3 is my artisteer licence going to be extended for 1 year from now when I purchase themeler.

Hi,

Looks like you have first updated the theme and then tried to save. Now saving option works for the themes that were not updated if you already had the Themler subscription.

So outside of the subscription period, can I create a new template with my old version and save and export it and upload in wordpress

You can only edit your old themes but not create new ones.
