Problems with the Wordpress Plugin Menu Icons

Hello,

I have problems with the Wordpress Plugin Menu Icons;

https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/

the plugins add a icons in the menu item

but the icons aren't visible. With other themes it works fine.
have you an idea what to do?

Themler Menu Walker is very different than one in WordPress default themes. Dont know reason why.

Try to give each menu item unique class and in CSS add SVG icons with :before, :after.

Hello,
please open the Theme Options under WP admin back end and make sure that this option is disabled

trim.png

Then assign icons to menu items. They should appear.

...and you have additional to uncheck "Apply menu item tag filter" in the Theme Options.
Then next issue: no space between icon and text.
Solution in my case: one or two " " bevore/after menutext.

Have success.

You have to copy the space and add it as text in the title:"X⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀X
