I am using WordPress.

  1. Is it possible to modify the text of the post edit control? I.e. change the text from "Edit" into for example "Edit post".

  2. Also how can I get space between the icon and the text? Its now somewhat ugly:

    Edit control screen copy

If not possible yet can this be added?

Hello Jan-Willem,
1.the text comes from translation file. You may change it in theme translation files

..\WPFolder\wp-content\themes\ThemeName\languages\

or directly in blog files:

  ..\WPFolder\wp-content\themes\ThemeName\templates\blog_*.php

2.you need to open the Post Edit control settings

and set right margin for the Icons Shape:
