Hi,

Sidebars on both provided pages look the same.
Have you managed to resolve your issue?

Thanks,
Ivan

Hi
Sorry, I somehow managed to copy the wrong URL's

Sidebar not showing
http://www.incahoot.info/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_category_id=0&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=0&categorylayout=0&showcategory=1&showproducts=1&productsublayout=0&Itemid=1206

Sidebar showing
http://www.incahoot.info/

I am slowly getting there with Themeler, my problem is a conceptual one, I still don't really understand how the Themeler Template layouts work with sub pages in general.

If I select change Template in the Themeler drop down and choose "Page" from the drop down then add something to the "Post Content" area of that page, it adds that content to all of my pages, which isn't any good cause I want to add different content to different pages

So underneath the "Change Template" dropdown in Themeler I can see a list off all of my menu pages, but whatever Page I select, this takes me to my home page Templare, so I am not understanding as yet how I add different content to different pages or how to change the Template layout on different pages because whichever way I go about it Themeler always takes me to the same page

Hi I could really do with an answer on how to work with Themeler Templates on my pages. I have asked this question on here lots of times and spent ages just pressing buttons trying to work out how to add different layouts and different content on different pages but I'm not getting anywhere with it

Hello Mark,
1. Sidebars on pages.
I agree with Ivan, that it looks like the sidebars are not enabled on the template specific for the page
http://www.incahoot.info/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_category_id=0&virtuemart_manufacturer_id=0&categorylayout=0&showcategory=1&showproducts=1&productsublayout=0&Itemid=1206

If you provide access to admin back end for the http://www.incahoot.info/ we could check it.

2.the Template is not equals to Page. Several pages may be based on the same template. Thus all static controls (e.g. Images, Text), shared areas (Header, Footer, Sidebars), style settings (e.g. background) are the same on all pages which are based on the same template.
I may recommend that you refer to the articles related to templates
http://answers.themler.com/articles/36343/how-to-work-with-templates-in-joomla-themes

If you want some pages to be based on a specific template you may create custom template for them
http://answers.themler.com/articles/10804/how-to-create-and-use-custom-templates

If you have any other questions please ask.

regards,
Aileen
