Really like the way themler works, but it's working too slow.
I also want to use exactly the same template (joomla) for all pages (including home page), wich now is impossible.
I've tried to copy all items from my homepage to the other pages, but for example I could not copy the same slider. On my homepage it's full width and on the other pages is is not.
These are only examples.
So I think that there is a lot of work to do...

I agree with your impression.

1) Too slow.

2) The free template I have chosen (Polyhedron for Joomla) cannot be exported in full.
Just minimal components and text are the in acutal exported template I could install in Joomla.

3) I would like to unsubscribe.

The way it works now it's indeed not worth the money. Nevertheless I still believe in the concept.
But there is lots of work to be done.
I will only renew my subscription if there are major changes...

Hi geert1!

Please note that we are on the beta stage now and each day of work brings new improvements to the functionality and performance. The new updates will show the notable improvements.
Also we are researching the ways to ease the management of the templates. Regarding your example, if something is wide on one template and does not look the same on the other one, please simply change the Length to Full page.

@info381
Regarding the template. It includes the design and dynamic content added as the modules from the Joomla back end. You can open the template on Themler cloud, navigate to the CMS admin panel from the top menu and copy the module content from the Modules manager to your real site.
If the template was created with the static content like boxes, text controls and images, you won't be able to change them from the CMS admin panel after the installation of the template. Such structure that uses Joomla positions to display content allows you to edit the template from the CMS back end with no need to open Themler each time you want to change one word.

Sincerely,
Hella

OK, it is really not so easy to copy and share controls between Templates.
Thank you that you started to discuss this question. Our designers will also discuss it.

Here is what we can propose.
Instead of current Header (Box) control use Header (Area) control.
Users can insert several controls and rows into this area.
All controls inside this area will be automatically added to all Templates.

The same with Footer (Area).

I think that would be a major improvement.
As I allready said: I like what I see, but there is still some thinking to do.
When can there be an update ?

We update almost every week, but we are not sure if it can be done next week.
We will start to work on this ASAP.

BTW, you already can do something like this:
1. Insert Row control
2. Remove second Column
3. Insert Header, Row, Menu and everything what you need into the first column
4. Select Row in the top Path
5. Copy Row control (e.g. click Copy icon in Toolbar)
6. Switch to different Template
7. Remove Header (click Delete from Current Template)
8. Remove row with Menu (click Delete from Current Template)
9. Paste and Share (currently available in right-click menu)

And you will see the same content on two Templates.

Thanks,
Oleg

Actually, you can Share almost any control (Slider, Row, Menu) between Templates:
1. Copy control
2. Switch to different Template
3. Paste and Share (right-click menu)

After this you see the same control that you have on first template.

Thank you Hella for your answer.

I managed importing the template and don't want to unsubscirbe anymore. Feel free to delete my previous post, as I wasn't able to edit or delete it.

I am a former Wix user, and thought your user interface could be as easy. In my opinion, your Themler user interface currently provides the user with a "slower editing experience" than Wix, requires more experience with CMS from the user's side, but is way more flexible. I can say I am overall satisfied by now.

However, I suggest:

  • to let some good blogger review or post a good tutorial on You Tube about the template importation (I.e. Tyler Moore is a YouTube-blogger whose posts are remarkably good).

  • to be clearer in your "Terms of Use" section about the company name and address, and how/when the user can terminate the contract.

  • to provide the users with a money back guarantee of a couple of days. It would help to build trust and enlarge the customer base faster.

  • a customer service via chat.

Best regards,

User info381

Hello,
- The Full Page length slider does exist in the default Theme, so you may try the same settings. In general you need set Length option to "Full Page" and Width option to "100%":

Slider.png

If you cannot manage with it please provide link to your theme (if it is saved on Cloud) or access to admin back end (if you're working with downloaded theme).

-Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. We appreciate all of them. However I have a couple of relevant comments:
1. we created a number of video tutorials, you may find all list here http://answers.billiondigital.com/Doc/Index or subscribe to out channel on Youtube
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=billion+themler

2.we're working on the documentations which covers all frequently asked questions about terms and licenses.

3.We do not offer any refunds as you may try all services before purchasing. An exception can be made in case the trial subscription for Photos expired and a monthly subscription launched automatically, you have contacted BillionDigital support a little while after this, and under condition that no images have been downloaded since that moment.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Regards,
Aileen

Think I've got it.
It all can be more logical, but it works.
There is no way that I would ask a refund. I decided to go on with themler for 1 year. At that point we will consider the further use of it...

You need to use Full Page Width feature.
It should be available in the next update, may be tomorrow.

For now you can use Length property:

There also should be a way to export the CONTENTS that are created. This way it would be easier for deployment.

Simply allow the contents to be exported with the template, then allow for import in Joomla. Most theme packages out there allow for this.
