Guys,
I posted again as it has been over a week without any kind of a response from you. If I left my clients for more than a week with such an urgent request as this, I'd expect them to try to contact me in another manner!

Let's use this ticket for the issue rather than the other one as this is public and may help other users with the same issue.

Hi,

I'm terribly sorry for the delay. Our developers have investigated the issue and it is related to the fact that you have set the background position to fixed. The background fixed option is not supported in iOS browser and there is nothing we could do about that. There are numerous cases about that over the internet.

Sincerely,
Hella

It seems strange that the software should offer options that are known not to work?

But if you can help me resolve the problem I would be grateful, I have to achieve the same visual result as you can see when viewing on a non apple device.

Hi,

We can not provide solution for this issue. Maybe you could find some guidelines over the internet like this one:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16009035/fixed-position-background-on-ios

It's the Safari issue and they should pay attention to resolving such a problem.

Sincerely,
Hella

I think you misunderstand me? I need to find a way to make the page look like this WITHOUT using the background fixed option. Surely there must be a way to make a Themeler design work on an ipad?

Further to your advice I have now changed the background image property to scroll instead of fixed but the image is still not showing on IOS devices.

Guys I just wanted to add that Themler's response here is totally unacceptable. The whole point of a design tool like this is to output cross-browser compatible code. If a feature isn't available on certain browsers then a 'fallback' solution should be in place. Plenty of templates that one can buy have features that work on desktop and are replaced with an alternative on mobile and so on. Obviously manually coding solutions to this for every cross-browser issue that Themler can't be bothered to solve kinda defeats the object of using a complete design solution like Themler.

Can you help me with this issue please guys? It is not related to the background:fixed issue as you stated. I have now changed the "fixed" value to "scroll" and the issue persists.

I need support with this issue PLEASE?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Our developers see that the problem is in the Safari browser that renders your layout not i the correct way . We assume that it a sort of the optimization from the Safari site but in this case it ruins the site.

It can be fixed in the following way:
1. Remove the position:relative; code for the <body> tag
2. Add z-index:0; for the <body> tag

But it may cause another issue: the site might be slow a bit when scrolling the page. So to avoid all that issues we can suggest you using the sections lie this one:

Kind regards, Hannah
