Getting back the Theme into Themler

Dear all,

basically I have the problem that I cannot re-import my Template for Joomla into Themler because I didn't know/realize (as the other posts say) that I have to use the "include" option at every export if I want to continue.
I started intensive working with Themler in the last quarter of 2015 and created a theme successfully into a stage where I wanted to test this template on a real webpage accessing from several computers.
However everthing worked but my computer: shortly after launching the tests the computer broke down and I wasn't able to restore anything but my copies from external devices.
As I did export the Theme without the "including Themler" option (at least I have a copy of the original export file; no changes done) - is there any chance to get back to this template for continuing my work or do I have to start at 0?

Many tanks in advance for your time and helpful advises

**Dear all,** basically I have the problem that I *cannot re-import* my Template for Joomla into Themler because I didn't know/realize *(as the other posts say)* that I have to use the "include" option at every export if I want to continue. Hi,

Unfortunately there is no possibility to import such template. It requires to include the editor in order to be imported into the application.

Sincerely,
Hella

Dear Hella,
Hello all,

after exchanging my laptop / noteboook to a modern desktop pc I am failing to import Themler zip folder to Themler Desktop application.
After facing above mentioned troubles in 2016 I always exported the theme two times, one witout additonal themler data (for webpage use) and one edition with ticked "include themler" for later imports as now.
Trying to import this zip file that should include Themler is giving me an error message as attached. Maybe you can help with this problem to go on working with the Template creation.

Sincerely
Waennefredder

I’ve had a similar issue before where I forgot to include the necessary options during export, and I had to start over. Unfortunately, if the "include" option wasn’t selected, it can be tough to recover the template. It might be worth checking with Themler support, though. On a lighter note, I had a similar "start over" moment while playing BitLife Mod APK, where I messed up a life choice and thought I had to begin again, but somehow ended up with an unexpected win! It’s always good to back things up next time.

It sounds like you ran into the common issue with Themler where the template can't be re-imported unless it was exported with the "include" option. I've faced something similar while working on a pastillatorsystem project, losing key editable files was a huge setback. Unfortunately, without the full project data, you might need to rebuild the template. Always exporting with full resources is crucial for future edits and cross-device access.
