Cannot edit section after adding to page

I am playing around with trying to add sections to a specific page. It seems that I can select a section template and edit it, but once saved it adds it into the post content section and I cannot edit it anymore. It does not show up in List or Tree view after I save it as well. Then if I try adding another section to that page it ends up adding it into the page template instead.

Please attach your theme or provide an access to the back end of your site so we could see the problem. Also please provide a screen shot of the section with the issue.

I think I figured it out, looks like it was a shortcode plugin on my wordpress that was using causing the issue. Once I disabled it I could see them again in the left side and edit them.
