Hi,

Could we have the social media icons at the top and bottom linkable as opposed to sharing. What i mean is when someone clicks the link i would like it to take them to my twitter account and not share my site on twitter.

Hope that makes sense, i may have missed this but it really should be build in the social media plugin rather than having to make it from scratch with html code which i have done.

Thanks

All those icons exist as normal SVG icons. Put them in one container, display:inline-block and make URLs as you need.
To spare time for next website wrap everything in one Section and export for later use.

Hallo,

where can I find those icons? I searched everywhere and my sourcecode doesn't tell me anything.
;o)

I would like to just link to the facebook page instead of sharing as well.

I already tried to edit the preset and upload it again, but sadly this didn't work.

Thank You in advance and kind regards.

Hello,
you may look for SVG icons in one of libraries, e.g.
https://icomoon.io/app/#/select
http://shalinguyen.github.io/socialicious/

If you download them as SVG files you may even use Image control to create image link (without sharing) to social network.

regards,
Aileen

I basically do what Stagger Lee suggests - but I do it on every single site so it would be very useful to have.

It would be a good feature to choose between sharing or linking!

Hello,
it's good idea! thank you.

Just a note: now if you do not want to use sharing functionality of social icons I;d recommend using Image control. Where you may assign any custom image and link.

Regards,
Aileen

Exactly what I do for now. Would be much more efficient to simple have a share/link toggle option.

Hello guys,
lets vote for this feature.

I don't understand why this has to be voted on. Sharing is good when it's articles or just a certain page, but when you want people to want to view your social media sites, from your main site, you would think it would take you to that site, instead of sharing. Thank you for the tip about the container!

Because most site now have links to there social profiles, for example a customer wont keep coming back to your site, however if they have joined your twitter or FB then your deal's and offers will show up on their timeline, its called SM Marketing. I can code this in no problem but it should be an option as about 80% of companies now have there social profiles on theier website. That is why pbannerman13.

Hey guys, has this been implemented yet? Social media icons on 4 templates takes me ages. If you got this change rolled out, I would be really happy!

It's ridiculous that something as simple to fix as this hasn't been yet...why can't all of the social media icons behave like Instagram???

Hi,

We do not fix it as this is not a bug. Our Social Icons control is behaving like a sharing control. If you need icons to link to your profiles, then use the Icon controls with the appropriate image and the desired link.

Sincerely,
Hella
