As you can remove the zoom of the images published in artisteer I had an option to disable it.

To disable image lightbox for post content, please select Posts control, open Posts tab >> Post Content >> Image Lightbox and disable it like this:

I have disabled a shown above, but the lightbox still works for html content.
How do you disable lightbox functionality for html content? I set a link on the image to open a page but it opens the image in lightbox instead. The stylesheet reference is .bd-lightbox.

Please try adding no-lightbox class to the image.
