Themler v. 199 Update (Feb-15-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Themler from the current Beta version.
The new version is 199.
Here is a list of fixes included in this Themler update:

General

Fixed the most common crashes.
Performance improvements.
Fixed issue with Set as Default и Reset to Default of Block control.

UI

Added pop-up for Add Section icon. Now you can choose where to add Section:
Improved UI for Columns control. The Alignment option is showing on Ribbon.
A few more minor UI improvements.

Controls

Fixed issue with Horizontal Menu item's order in RTL direction.
Several fixes for Menu and Header for iPhone
Fixed issue with Slider animation duration.

WP & WooCommerce

Added "Edit in Themler" button to WP Admin Panel for Posts and Pages:
All theme's shortcodes are now segregated into the theme's plug-in. Now shortcodes can be rendered when Themler theme is not activated.
Added "Remove shortcodes from excerpt" option to the WP Appearance >> Theme Options.
Running more than one instance of Themler is now prevented. The message about trying to run duplicated instance of Themler will appear.
Fixed the output of the payment methods on Checkout page on the latest WooCommerce versions.
Fixed the issue with Add to Cart button of the variable products.
Fixed issue with scrolling of preview area on Default template.

Joomla

Fixed the issue with Checkout Now.
Fixed issue with ARK editor.

Magento

Added support for SUPEE-6788 security patch. Now Themler can be launched when this patch is enabled.

PrestaShop

Fixed issue with Category Description

could you please describe your issue is more details?
Do you mean pre-built sliders from templates.themler.com?
Or may be one of slider plugins?

Hello Angela,

Maybe it would be good policy to have a list of changes available
before forcing people to update?

The list of updates is released along with Themler update. When you open the theme you may click Updates icon or not. The non updated theme will work but it won't include new features and bug fixes.

Hi,

I did the update to 1.0.199 on mac version. I work on a wordpress theme but i can't import img "from file" anymore in themler. I have an error, it says: "ALERT. Sorry, error occurred. Your project will be restored". I try with .png .jpg ....
Do you have a solution?

Seems as custom templating now works for all embeds, not only links.

The embed template file is used to render a post which is being
embedded. Since 4.5, WordPress uses the following path:

embed-{post-type}-{post_format}.php – First, WordPress looks for a
template for the specific post. For example, if its post type is
product and it has the audio format, WordPress would look for
embed-product-audio.php. embed-{post-type}.php – If the post type is
car, WordPress would look for embed-car.php. embed.php – WordPress
then falls back to embed.php. Finally, WordPress ultimately falls back
to wp-includes/theme-compat/embed.php

Hi, when you will start posting there actual update information, for each update ?
Whats fixed and whats new in version 2.41 ?

I'd like to know the same thing, I was just forced to update to access any of the premade sections.

I see new functions-additional.php file for custom functions. Not so big deal but nice addition for Users not using functions in custom plugin. Child themes, or switching to another theme is also not big problem, just copy/paste file to another theme.

Maybe I will start using it instead of my plugin. Move custom.css to theme folder too.

I've noticed with the latest update that the side panels don't display when you move your cursor to the edge of the screen unless you've already opened a panel using a button on the ribbon.

This is only very minor, but a little irritating as often the first action I want to complete when opening Themler is to change the template that I'm editing.

It would be nice if this could be addressed in a future update. It wasn't a problem in version 178.

Hi, go into tab Home and after this click settings, and they will appear :)

Hi aldo12,

Please add position "relative" to the container with 6-column section under the Arrange section (in the same place where you added z-index "1").
This should help.

I have problems with the upgrade to put a tile layer on top of another, was fully functional and now has gone the overlap, I also changed the z-index but to no avail. Under the first section in loading one can see the 6 columns but remain below.

Would the new update cause this error? I get this when trying to add a new section.

I've failed to reproduce this issue on my side.
Does the issue continue? Does the issue happen with all sections or with some specific sections?
