Hello,
I am a novice. I would like to find out how to show only description (excerpt e.g length 50 words) on search page in place of the whole content of the page. In post [Wordpress Search Problem with Themler][1] joehannay shows results for query text=TAX and receives the results of this query in the form of whole pages and post. (In my opinion links continue reading ... are illogical - they covered nothing more). In case of query text = T - You noticed pagination over 10 - minimal character count to trigger search should be set. joehannay - Just like You, I am not a programmer I am only test what they've done.

How to make results of query on search.php page to be excerpt - something like this (I used AJAX script) - figure 1

figure-1.PNG

How can I modify the search page for no results - how is it called page when there is no result for sent query ?

Best regards,
AS

Hi,

Unfortunately Themler does not support modifying if the Search results page and does not provide admin option for this.
I suggest that you search for WP plug-ins that can do what you need.

Thank you,
Olivia
