How to install and customise a blank template in joomla

From what I see on your screenshot, you seem to be using an old version of Joomla like 2.5... maybe upgrade to the latest Joomla version? V.3.4.8

Maybe that could be more compatible with Themler?

When I go to my administration in joomla it says You already have the latest Joomla! version, 2.5.22. but I can see when I google that there is indeed the 3.4.8 version you are talking about how do I go about installing this?

You have to do a jump upgrade form Joomla 2.5.22 to Joomla 3.3.x and from there, you'll be able to update from 3.3 to 3.4.8.

Also remember that you will have to update all your third party extensions so they can be compatible with your new Joomla 3.4.x

I can not upload the blank_themler_joomla_theme.zip because maximum size for uploading in joomla is 3 Mb but the blank_themler_joomla_theme.zip is 6 Mb.
What can I do?

Or to increase the file upload limit size, please search for the line like “upload_max_filesize = 2M” in php.ini and change the value to your desired value.
