I am developing a theme with Themler and for it i choose to add a custom php script to randomize an image on my site. So i used FTP to place this custom php file inside the themler theme folder on my host. For some reason it disappeared when i came back in Themler. It showed very shortly, but upon refresh (i think) it was gone. For the script's usage i needed to link to a php file inside the theme's CSS.

Is this something in Themler or is something else causing this? If so, is there a setting or something which i can use to prevent this in the future?

It doesnt remove it. I have my files since months back and they were never deleted. Dont put files inside theme subfolder made by Themler. Put them in theme root, or make own subfolder and put there.

I know HTML Desktop remove all alien files, but you typed in tag yu use WordPress.

Hi,

Themler overrides the theme files once the theme is saved or updated. So it is recommended to include the links to the external files within the Home >> Settings >> Additional HEAD HTML area. The CSS code can be inserted under the Home >> Settings >> Additional CSS.

Sincerely,
Hella
