Can't edit home in wordpress

I've seen a similar post but it didn't fix my issue.

Site is located at http://verticalfactorycornwall.com

I've exported and installed the theme in the wordpress installation I have.

The site looks fine, however, when I click to edit the page on the home page, it opens the wordpress wysiwig, but nothing is in there...

Also, the footer, the section on the left, I cant change. I tried in the widget section, but it doesn't update.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Please note that wordpress wysiwig will corrupt the Themler's code, therefore please use the source code to edit the page.

As I can see all sections on the Home page was added outside the content area. They are part of the theme and can be edited in Themler only. The content area is empty.

The same is related to the Footer Section. It's a part of the template too. If you want to edit Footer content in the WP you should add Widget area controls instead of current text blocks and then add Text widget to the appropriate widget area in WP Widgets.
